    Victoria Austria Watteau Scene Green & Raised Gold 10 1/2 Inch Bowl C.1891-1918
    Absolutely stunning large fancy molded porcelain bowl in green fading to white. Nicely decorated with a courting couple scene of a woman with a basket full of eggs and a man playing bag pipes, surrounding by a fancy gold gilt scrollwork and floral frame. The border on the bowl is decorating with fancy Art Nouveau style floral gold gilt scrollwork  in between Dresden style flowers framed in gold & yellow scrollwork.
    Marked on the base Victoria Carlsbad Austria in blue. This mark was used by Schmidt & Company between 1891 and 1918.
    Has some usage marks to the center of the bowl and some wear to the gilding. Also has a bruise and a few small chips to the foot rim, and a 2 1/4 inch tight crack extending off the edge that is hard to see from the front.
    Measures approximately 10 1/2 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches tall.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
