This Agave is the dark brown sugar to the more common light brown sugar flavor. Don't know how to explain it. Earthier? More complex? Definitely better in my opinion. I had to buy a quantity of four for some reason. I'm fine with it because I love it and can share with friends and family, but if you don't prefer it? Kind of a pain.

I suspect that not everyone will like this raw agave. It has a strong taste just like raw sugar is much stronger that refined white. But I really like this over normal agave. (I also prefer raw sugar over refined) If you really like the mild, almost subtle "flavor" of normal agave sweeteners, don't buy this. If you are adventurous and "bold", this is the one for you!! Yum!!
