Being offered for your consideration is this Carved Wooden African Comb in Wood and Glass Shadow Box Frame. Hand carved comb and woman figure atop with a
reeded mat backdrop. The comb is
enclosed in a glass & wood shadowbox frame. I believe the piece originates from the Ashanti tribe in Ghana. The box frame measures 18 1/4" tall, 11 3/8" wide and is 2 1/4" deep. The carving and frame are both in good condition with the frame having some vintage wear with no damage or repairs (see images). It has a stationary hook on the back for hanging. An attractive addition to your decor!
