Antique Marx & Gutherz Carlsbad Austria Platter Server Large Tray 18 5/8 “ X 11.
This listing is for one platter as pictured.
It is being offered for sale in used, antique condition. It is impossible to list every imperfection or blemish. Please view the pictures carefully as I have taken the photos to expand on the description, details and condition of the platter.

The platter is approximately 18 5/8 inches long by about 11 ¾ inches in width.
The platter is marked “
Marx & Gutherz Carlsbad Austria
.” There are some numbers in this area as well. They may be “2098 98” orperhaps “7098 98.”
The platter has scattered surface wear throughout including staining, scratches, paint loss, discoloration and other “age spots.” I do not see any cracks, chips or repairs however there is an issue on the underneath area of the tray. I am not sure if this imperfection initiated during manufacturing or not. Please see photo and note this area feels rough to the touch, as if it was never glazed. Additionally, there is soiling in this area. Nearly all of the gold-toned paint along the edges of the platter has worn away.
