The gauge for either the Addi Express Standard or King Size is set for a
DK or worsted weight yarn
. It is the equivalent of a mid-range needle: U.S. 7, 8 ,9.
Yarn Size 3 or 4
You can run lighter weight yarn through the machine. The gauge remains the same, so the lighter the yarn the more open the fabric. You can use lighter weight yarns double and triple strands and some novelty yarns. (Eyelash, ribbon.) The King Size machine can knit a tube that is easily big enough for a adult hat or sleeves, etc. There are limitations; Bulky, chunky yarns or very bumpy yarns is too thick to knit. Please note that these machines are designed for hobby purposes, and not intended for production knitting.

includes warranty service through Skacel in Seattle, WA. Machines that ship from outside the U.S. or without the
U.S. Sticker
(see image) do not include this warranty.
